Klaviyo Profile Sync

To get started wih this integration please submit a ticket so we can provision the backend elements required to use the Klaviyo Contact Sync system.

This integration syncs your M-Power Company contacts (Company Name, Contact First Name, Contact Last Name and Contact Email address) to Klaviyo to be used in marketing campaigns.

It is based on the premise that M-Power is the single source of truth and the current state of active contacts are applied to Klaviyo on a schedule.

Note: We do not delete contacts from Klaviyo if they are removed from M-Power.

M-Power provides the current state of all active contacts in an emailed csv file. Zapier processes this and either Adds or Updates the related Klaviyo Profile.

All costs related to Kalviyo are assumed by you the customer, and handled directly between those services and yourself.

When you request access to this integration you can request the following configuration options:

• Frequency - minimum hourly, recommeded daily or weekly depending on how often you add contacts
• Filtering - the default is all active contact, however you can request to only sync a single profit centre, customer class or industry

Setup Steps

1. Submit a ticket to the M-Power helpdesk to request access
2. Create a Klaviyo Account
3. Create a Klaviyo API Key

Create a Ticket

Simply email support@mpowersoftware.zendesk.com to request access.

Create a Klaviyo Account

Head on over to Klaviyo and Create an Account. At the time of writing, Klaviyo plans and related costs you assume are related to the number of profiles in your account.

Create a Klaviyo API Key

Navigate to the Klaviyo Manage API Keys page: https://www.klaviyo.com/settings/account/api-keys

In the Private Keyds section, click Create Private API Key

Enter MpowerSync for the KeyName, and select Custom Key

Then on the right hand side of the screen select FULL ACCESS for Profiles ONLY. All other items should remain as No Access.

Finally click Create at the top right of the screen.

Record and keep the API Key safe, think of it as a password. You will need to share this with M-Power so we can configure the integration for you.

PLEASE NOT: As Klaviyo is billed based on the number of Profiles, please consider how many M-Power contacts you have soas to not receive a surprise bill from Klaviyo.
