Sometimes it is necessary to pre-define multiple shipping locations for a single order. A common scenario would be shipping a defined set of products to a series of branches or retail outlets.
Multi-Shipment allows you to assign some or all of any lines in a quote to corresponding shipments.
This feature can be accessed in both Quotes and Orders. If added to a quote, any locations linked to any quote line that become part of an order line will be copied over automatically. This allows for both pre-defining shipments at quote time, and also defined at the time of order, or production.
The multi-shipment tool is accessed using the button beside the Delivery Address label.
