26.7 is a large release. The headline additions are a full Tasks & Follow-up Reminders system, a new Roles framework for routing notifications, a rebuilt Quality Assurance section, multi-resource scheduling, and bulk invoice export to MYOB and Xero. Alongside those are dozens of smaller improvements and fixes across the product, listed by area below.
Tasks & Reminders
New
- A complete Tasks and follow-up reminders system. Create tasks against quotes, orders, leads, purchase orders, invoices and sales calls, manage everything from the My Tasks centre, and get notified when a task falls due, becomes overdue, or is reassigned, completed or commented on.
- Tasks can be created straight from email. Send or forward a message to your dedicated tasks address and a task is created automatically, with the sender matched to the right contact.
Improved
- Tasks are now a core feature available to everyone, with a Tasks tab on company records and Tasks buttons on Invoice, Lead, Order, Purchase and Quote pages.
- Emailed-in tasks show a tidy summary — sender, date and a short preview — plus an Email tab where you can read the original message, view it as a PDF, or download it.
- Tasks can be escalated: change the priority, mark a task urgent, and see every escalation recorded in the task's history.
- Urgent tasks show a popup that stays on screen until acknowledged. This can be switched off site-wide if you'd prefer.
- Open tasks can be reassigned to another employee, and completed or cancelled tasks can be reopened — the assignee, creator and watchers are all notified.
- A task's due date can now be edited.
- A new "Assigned" filter in My Tasks shows work you created and delegated to other people or role queues.
- The Task Centre has a refresh button so you can reload your list without reloading the page, and task action buttons can be collapsed for a tidier view.
- Calendar and task dialogs now include completed and cancelled tasks, greyed out, so you can see the full history.
Fixed
- The Task Centre no longer fails to load, dropdowns inside task dialogs now appear in the correct position, and task due times no longer cause an error.
Notifications & Roles
New
- A new Roles system. Set up job-function roles in Settings, assign members, and have notifications routed to a role's members, the account manager, or the record's owner.
- Administrators can manage notification rules from a new settings screen. A notification type can have several active rules whose recipients combine — so you can subscribe an entire role alongside the usual owner.
Improved
- Employees have a Job Roles tab for assigning roles directly from the employee record.
- Notification channels that aren't available yet (SMS, push and webhook) are greyed out and marked "coming soon" so they can't be selected by mistake.
- The notification bell now matches the colours of the main navigation bar.
Quotes, Orders & Leads
Improved
- The quotes list shows profile icons in the Created By column.
Fixed
- Prices recalculated by pricing recipes are now saved properly, so you no longer see stale prices after a recalculation. Recipe calculations also handle a missing unit price safely.
- Quantity fields in the pricing wizard, and editable number fields throughout the app, now check what you've typed and explain the problem instead of failing.
- Customer dropdowns in the price table editor are no longer cut off by the edge of the dialog.
- A lead's status can now be cleared.
- Converting a lead to a quote reliably copies the lead's files and notes.
- Quote follow-up dates now store the date only, so they display consistently in the portal list.
- Editing an order line that has since been deleted shows a clear message rather than an error.
- Fixed subcategory names and IDs being assigned incorrectly.
Jobs, WIP & Job Costing
New
- Quick Time entry. A Quick Time button on order and job pages opens a time entry with the job and your employee record already filled in, and a process list narrowed to that job.
- Two new WIP views: WIP Simple and WIP Simple Key Dates.
- The Job Costing list can be exported to Excel with your filters applied, including the full estimated, actual and variance breakdown.
- Putting a job on hold now asks for a reason, and hold and release events are recorded as system notes for a clear audit trail.
Improved
- WIP pages are consolidated under a single menu, the WIP page remembers the tab you were last on, and the WIP Key Dates grid filters, sorts and pages on the server so it stays fast on large data sets.
- A globe icon beside the job ID in WIP grids shows at a glance which orders came in through the client portal.
- Job card reports can include the linked quote's details, and report generation has been heavily optimised so this stays fast.
- Job cards for recipes that haven't been run in a job yet show a short loading step while the material and operation tables are built, so the card prints correctly.
- The scan area has a side menu.
Fixed
- Longer job costing quote descriptions are no longer cut short.
- Scanning a job ID now guards against accidental double scans, which previously merged two job numbers into an invalid ID.
Scheduling & Planning
New
- Scheduler events can be assigned to several resources at once for crew and pool planning, with a multi-select resource picker, the option to split a resource out into its own event, and an "unschedule operation" action that returns work to the unscheduled panel.
Improved
- The scheduler board lists exactly the resources marked as Scheduled in Settings > Resources.
- The planning list and Schedule Job dialog show only operations whose process is marked as scheduled, and the gap between operations is now an editable Lag (days) column that saves.
Invoicing & Accounting Integrations
New
- Invoices can be exported to MYOB or Xero in bulk. "Export All Pending" processes every ready invoice in one action, with a live progress dialog showing each invoice's status and running success and failure counts. Invoice pages now also show despatch numbers.
Improved
- Bulk export is more resilient: temporary failures retry automatically, duplicate invoices are prevented when Xero's "already exists" check fails, and failure reasons display in full — including a direct link when the invoice already exists in Xero.
- When the "check total" action finds an invoice has been deleted or voided in Xero or MYOB, its export details are cleared automatically so it returns to Pending Export and can be sent again.
Fixed
- Fixed permission errors when exporting invoices to Xero for businesses with more than one organisation connected.
- Xero operations are no longer attempted against invalid connections, avoiding sync errors.
Customer Portal & PunchOut
New
- PunchOut supports UNSPSC product classification codes per item, with a default applied to items that don't have one.
Improved
- PunchOut connections are more robust: multiple buyer credentials and case-insensitive network IDs are handled, branch companies resolve through their head office, and sessions start reliably inside buyer systems such as SAP Ariba. A new Branches tab on the company page lists linked branches.
- Any differences between the buyer's cart and the resulting order lines are recorded in the order's system note for auditing.
Fixed
- Fixed carts returned to buyer systems being unreadable — SAP Ariba in particular — and updated the document version we send to one modern procurement systems accept.
- Order acknowledgements sent back to buyers now follow the cXML specification exactly, and incoming purchase orders have their delivery address and line items reconciled against the original cart.
- Orders created from SAP PunchOut purchase orders capture the SAP PO number as the customer reference and use the purchase order's ship-to address for delivery.
- Portal quotes and orders display correctly for older records created before source tracking existed, so non-portal quotes awaiting email and orders awaiting release no longer go missing from the list.
- Subportal header and footer images now update properly when you upload a replacement.
- PDF previews load reliably on the public order and quote approval pages.
Quality Assurance
New
- The Quality Assurance section has been rebuilt. Audit reports, plans, procedures, controlled documents and more can now be added, edited and deleted directly in the app, with searchable and filterable grids and an audit worksheet generated automatically from your QA procedure prompts.
- The QA page is now a tabbed interface with a modern NCR grid (server-side filtering and Excel export), a new Customer Feedback tab and a QA Settings tab, plus Excel export for NCR cost reports.
Improved
- NCRs, Customer Feedback and QA Settings can also be reached from the main application settings page.
- Further refinements throughout QA, including handling of file attachments on QA records.
Inventory, Materials & Bills of Material
New
- Item master data now keeps a field-level change history — who changed what, when, and the values before and after — for a full audit trail.
Improved
- The Add/Edit Material Item form has been reorganised into a vertical tab layout, with the UNSPSC code on a new More tab.
- The inventory transaction details page has been redesigned with a card layout showing quantity on hand, stock value, minimum stock, below-minimum badges and per-location stock.
- BOM reporting includes the ink type name and tooling ID.
Fixed
- Number fields on the material item and BOM forms are now checked both in the browser and on the server, so blank or malformed values no longer cause errors or quietly corrupt data.
- Opening BOM details for an item with no bill of materials no longer causes an error.
- BOM tooling lookups now use a proper reference rather than the free-text forme number, so the wrong registered tool is no longer associated.
- Saving a material item no longer overwrites fields you deliberately cleared.
- Inventory transfers handle missing or invalid data with a clear message instead of failing unexpectedly.
- The stock count Excel export includes every matching item rather than just the page on screen, with progress feedback while it runs.
Purchasing & Despatch
New
- A new setting can block despatch dockets from being created for customers whose accounts are locked.
Improved
- Added a Purchasing submenu, converted several purchasing tables to the modern grid, and improved the Purchase Orders list.
Fixed
- The description column in the despatches list now shows clean, readable text, with very long values shortened.
- Opening the despatch advice email dialog for a despatch whose contact has since been removed no longer causes an error — the recipient is simply left blank.
Files, Images & Email
New
- HEIC images are supported for report thumbnails, and thumbnails on quote and order lines load faster, including PDF previews.
- A new setting hides .eml email files in the file browser by default.
Improved
- File lists on orders and quotes load dramatically faster.
- You can now upload up to 20 files at once.
- A new tool, enabled per CRM, tidies up images on quote and order lines so previews stay consistent no matter how the document was created.
- Outbound email is now sent through a background queue with automatic retries, making sending more reliable and removing delays while you wait.
- Email template tokens are handled by a single engine: compose windows include a click-to-copy token reference, Email Defaults settings check tokens per document type, and an email containing an unrecognised token gives you a clear message instead of sending raw placeholder text.
- Applying predefined email content asks whether you want to append or replace, and updating your signature swaps out the existing footer without disturbing the rest of the email.
- A per-employee "Display In Email Lists" setting controls who appears in the email From dropdown, and employees without an email address are excluded automatically.
- The line files table now uses the modern grid.
Fixed
- Attachments that together exceed the email provider's size limit are now sent as download links instead of failing to send.
- Recipient and CC addresses are checked and tidied before sending, so a trailing dot or stray semicolon produces a clear message rather than an error.
- "Email sent" notes are only recorded once the email has actually gone, and a problem with a secondary notification no longer interrupts the main send.
- Each single-use download link you email is now logged individually, rather than only the last one when several are generated at once.
- Report thumbnails respect the photo's orientation, so portrait photos are no longer shown rotated, and very large images no longer fail to produce a thumbnail.
- Files without a stored checksum, such as email attachments and older files, can now be deleted, and changing their visibility settings gives a clear message instead of an unknown error.
- Fixed an issue that could leave orphaned files behind.
Reporting & Exports
New
- Added an employee barcode report template.
Improved
- The Sales Analysis grid now pages, filters and sorts on the server, shows accurate grand and group totals for the whole filtered result, and can be exported to Excel.
- The Job / Despatch / Invoice variance report handles invoices not tied to a specific line, shows invoice quantities, has a refined "requiring invoice" quick filter, and uses the modern grid styling.
Fixed
- Restored the missing Purchases custom report type, which had become unavailable in the interface.
- The invoice reportable report no longer times out on large data sets.
Mobile & the "Me" Section
Improved
- Notifications and tasks are now available on mobile, with dedicated Tasks pages — view your list, open a task, update its status, add comments and manage attachments.
- The Me calendar has a refreshed interface and shows your open tasks alongside sales calls, with quick view and rescheduling directly from the calendar.
- Me section tables use the modern grid, with a more compact and consistent look throughout.
Fixed
- Various fixes to the mobile My Schedule page.
Companies & Contacts
Improved
- Customer detail grids have partial-match filters for Despatch, Order and Quote IDs, plus contact and order fields.
- Search and filtering have been added to the company sub-details view.
- Grid layout on the Leads and Companies pages is more compact and consistent.
Fixed
- Customer profile dropdowns no longer break when the data contains apostrophes, quotes or other special characters.
Settings, Administration & the API
New
- A new Agent App REST API for external automation, including endpoints for syncing inbound job and quote lines and listing attached files through secure, short-lived download links. This removes the requirement to use a tailscale client.
Improved
- Grid styling has been standardised across settings pages, the Resources table converted to the modern grid, the Tooling grid given a per-column filter bar, and PunchOut Logs moved to its own top-level System tab.
Fixed
- Inactive departments no longer appear in department pickers. Employees already assigned to one still see it, marked "(inactive)".
- Rich text settings fields are also cleaned when saved — unusable pasted images, for example from Outlook, and unsafe links are removed, and you're told when content has been adjusted.
Across the Application
Improved
- If the server is briefly unavailable you'll now see a friendly, branded page instead of a raw error.
Fixed
- Fixed a problem where uploading a batch of photos could exhaust the server's memory and make the site unresponsive. Image information is now read far more efficiently, with additional safeguards and faster automatic recovery.
- Grids no longer attempt to delete rows that were never saved.
- Actions on records that have been deleted, or that you don't have access to, now return a clear "not found" or "no access" message instead of a general error.
- Fixed data loading on the Projects page.
- Errors returned by the application are now always in a consistent, readable form.
