The recipe summary contains the overview information for the recipe that is inherited by the other sections. When the recipe editor is opened from a product the summary details are first shown as below.
The recipe description (1) is normally complete but can be edited. Our first task is to press (2) and setup the list of questions that modify the recipe.
A recipe will normally be created with some common questions already configured. Either delete these [x] (for instance width and height are not need for a installation job)
Add a new question with the button (1) this will insert a new row at the top of the list of existing questions. Enter a number to recorder the row (6) or do this on completion.
Enter the question for the user by clicking on the 'Enter Question Text' (2) on the newly added row. Click in the "field to update" column (3) and select as question from the dropdown box (4). Save the selection by pressing the button (5) and then (optionally) reorder the row by entering a sort position in order column (6)
Repeat this process until the questions have been added and then press the close button (7) to exit.
Question Fields Available
The following are question fields available within the recipe summary section.
Enter the Variation Name |
This is a text field which is used to rename the recipe. It is a added by default when a new recipe is created. Most commonly this will be used as

Enter Finished Width and Enter finished Height |
These are number fields that are used to set the dimensions of the product that is used in the calculation. These are added as questions by default when a new recipe is created |
Enter Number of Colours | Used in some analog printing processes (such as screen-printing) this sets the number of colours which is inherited by some processes such as screen or plate making |
Enter Maximum Worksheet Width and Enter Maximum worksheet height |
These are number fields that are used to set the maximum worksheet dimensions used in an imposition calculation. |
Stepping Y and Stepping X | Allows the user to specify the imposition stepping manually rather than automatic imposition |
