It is common to have to merge one company (customer and/or supplier) into another. This can be easily achieved using the merge tool.
The merge tool performs the following actions:
- Move all Addresses to the Destination Company
- Move all Contacts to the Destination Company
- Move all Notes to the Destination Company
- Move all Leads to the Destination Company
- Move all Recipes to the Destination Company
- Move all Tags to the Destination Company
- Move all Quotes to the Destination Company
- Move all Orders to the Destination Company
- Move all Purchases to the Destination Company
- Move all Inwards Goods to the Destination Company
- Move all Supplier Bills to the Destination Company
- Move all Despatches to the Destination Company
- Move all Invoices to the Destination Company
- Move all Client Portal User Accounts to the Destination Company
- Marks the Source Company as In-Active
To merge a company:
1. Navigate to the source company
2. Click the 'Actions' menu item in the top right of the screen
3. Select Merge
4. Select the Destination Company form the list
5. Click Merge Company to complete the merge
