Status Automation lets M-Power update the status of your Leads, Quotes and Jobs automatically as they move through your workflow — for example, marking a quote as SENT the moment it is emailed to the customer, or moving the source lead forward when its quote becomes a job.
These settings are found in Settings > Business > Status Automation.
Each setting is optional. A setting left as Not Set means no automation occurs for that event and statuses are only ever changed manually, as before. The statuses offered in each list are your own — Lead Statuses are managed in Settings > Lists, and Quote and WIP (Job) Statuses in their respective status lists.
Leads

A typical setup automates the full quote lifecycle: Status on Quote Created → TO QUOTE, Status on Quote Emailed → QUOTE SENT, and Status on Convert to Job → QUOTE WON.
Jobs

Previously these three job settings were located under Settings > Business > Processing; they have moved to the Status Automation tab.
Notes
- Automation only ever sets the status at the moment the event occurs — you can still change any status manually afterwards.
- Status on Quote Created applies to quotes created directly in the Quotes module. Quotes created by copying an existing quote, converting a quote request, or through the client portal are not affected.
- If a status that is used by an automation setting is later deleted, the automation is cleared back to Not Set for that event.
